The steel grades for patterned steel plates shall be supplied in accordance with the provisions of GB/T700 (carbon structural steel), GB/T712 (structural steel for ship hulls), and GB/T4171 (high weather resistance structural steel). Class B ordinary carbon structural steel shall be rolled, and the chemical composition shall comply with the provisions of GB700 "Technical Conditions for Ordinary Carbon Structural Steel". At present, due to the continuous expansion of domestic construction demand, the production of the three types of structural steel specified above is increasing at a rate of 10% -15% per year.
According to the principle of craftsmanship, patterned steel can be roughly divided into the following common categories:
(1) Crystalline patterned steel: natural patterned steel, Uzi steel/wootz, meteorite iron (black gold), premium rough patterned steel, premium wrought iron.
(2) Tempered patterned steel: made by blending pig iron and "wrought iron", it is used for steelmaking and crucible steel (cast steel/wrought iron).
(3) Spiral welded patterned steel: spiral welded embedded steel and spiral welded corrugated steel.
(4) The pattern produced by multi pass clamping steel and embedded steel forging: wolf bite blade.
(5) Ground muscle: The pattern produced by the technique of wrapping steel, applying soil, and burning blades.
(6) Folding flower steel: It is made by repeatedly folding and forging two or more steel or "iron" materials with significantly different carbon contents.
(7) Filed flower steel: It is obtained by alternately filing and forging the surface material of a sword blade that has already been clamped with steel. If controlled properly, this type of sword has better patterns, is sharper, and has a certain degree of elasticity.
(8) Mechanical processing imitates Damascus steel pattern (flower pattern steel): Mechanical processing imitates Damascus steel by mechanically changing the welded steel layer or synthesizing it through various programs, mainly by twisting and filing (cutting) to form patterned steel, with foreign powdered Damascus steel being the best.
(9) Fusion patterned steel: The material is a variety of steel with different carbon contents, and industrial fusion, welding and other processes can be used to produce patterns.
(10) Pickled patterned steel: made by uneven surface carburizing.
